The Bastrop Senior Golf Association is a group of men and women, who play golf year round for fun, love the game of golf and practice the true spirit of the game. By joining BSGA, you will have the opportunity to meet new people and have fun playing golf.
BSGA follows the USGA rules with some modifications to speed play and keep the game enjoyable for seniors of all levels of play. The courses that we play are senior friendly.
Our membership is made up of players of all skill levels. The members are divided evenly into teams of three to five players. All play is at Pine Forest Golf Course and Colovista Golf Club, alternating those courses each Wednesday morning. Participants pay an entry fee and cash prizes are awarded to the first, second and third place teams, and closest to the pin, the following week.
An annual banquet is held every year, where members are recognized for their play during the year and awarded prizes.
Our association was founded for the enjoyment of golf.
