General Membership Information

  • You must be 55 years or older on the day you signup.  With approval, spouses are not required to be 55 years old.
  • Tournaments are held on Wednesday mornings unless rained out, Make ups are then scheduled if feasible for the following Monday.
  • Each player is responsible for paying their own green fee.  Special rates have been setup with all courses.
  • At each tournament, each individual is required to check-in and pay a $5 entry fee before the registration deadline.(See Tournament Schedule page of this website, for times)
  • The $5 entry fee funds the cash prizes for the teams who finish 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and to players who are closest to the pins on par 3’s.and end of year banquet
  • Couples may play on the same team.
  • Each player is assigned a skill level ranging from “A” to “D”.  Every effort is made to have an “A,B,C,& D player” on each team. However, team selection is made strictly by a DRAW SYSTEM on players that are available at that tournament.
  • A $20 membership fee is paid when you sign up and annually at the beginning of our golf season.  A $10 membership fee for the spouse of a member. The fee is used to support operational cost and the cost of our annual Celebration of Golf banquet.  The banquet is free to all members and one guest.

Unless you are a guest of a current member, all effort will be made to pair new members with a BSGA officer during their first tournament in order to:
    • Explain the local BSGA rules.
    • Answer any questions that new players may have about the association, tournament play, etc..
  • Help welcome new members.
